And if you are feeling generous, you might want to seek out slightly lower level characters and give them a helping hand through the dungeons. Teaming up with characters slightly above your level is a marvelous way to quickly accumulate better loot and XP. Characters with healing abilities strengthen teammates, while those with battlefield control powers can slow or stun enemies and create openings for the melee fighters and help protect the ranged DPS characters. You have the same combat options and dungeons to explore, but every character recieves full XP for every nearby kill. Work together with fellow players to take down enemies, and share healing whenever you can. Be especially wary of your Health online. Enemy Health and attack power fluctuates based on the number of allies nearby. Online enemies are tougher versions of their single-player ilk. Loot is instanced, so each player only sees Gear applicable to their character on their display. If you are playing on Steam, the usual voice chat options work fine as well.Įvery piece of loot you see dropped online belongs to you. Press ENTER to initiate a chat message, and after typing your comment, press ENTER again to send it. You can communicate with other players through a built-in chat interface. Their status bars are visible on the top-left of your display. Other players' names appear over their heads. Adventure solo or form a party online with your friends. By clicking the green icon next to a character, you cam instantly teleport to that player's position.
